March 23:    Stazio Crit - Buff Style!

Flyer for 2014 Stazio Crit It's the return of CU Cycling's Stazio Crit! 2012 was a big hit with nearly 500 racers! Last year got snowed out, so we're hoping for good weather and a huge turnout this year. Hopefully your legs will still have energy following Saturday's hill repeats at the Candelas Circuit Race!

This race weekend is a huge fundraiser for our collegiate team - your racing goes a long way to our success! Thanks so much for your support!

This just in! We've got Dave Towle announcing for us at the race - it's going to be an awesome atmosphere!. We're still finalizing things, but we might be bumping up the prize list too. Stay tuned.

Pre-register for $35 on Pre-reg closes at Noon on Saturday, March 22. Day-of registration opens at 7am and closes 40 minutes before each category's start. Juniors race free, collegiate categories are $21, and all other USAC categories are $40 day-of. If you're eager for more hill repeats, your second race is $15.

The Course

A classic 1.1 mile crit course with 4 fast sweeping turns - though more technical than our old research park crit. There is also a 62-foot hill that will wear you out, it's going to be a great test of early season fitness. Here's the Strava Segment.

Ride your bike! You can take the Boulder Creek Path east to the Goose Creek Greenway, and follow signs to the Stazio Ball Fields. If you opt to drive, we'll have parking at the business park just west of the ballfields. Take Arapahoe to 55th, north to central, east to parking signs. There is quick access to the bike path, going under the train tracks to the ball fields for registration. Registration is by the Start/Finish on the northwest side of the course. DO NOT enter from 63rd and Arapahoe - 63rd is closed for construction. Cars will also be turned away from the north entrance at Valmont and Butte Mill.
